WONDERFUL THINGS:
– waking up to sunshine, early on a gorgeous Saturday morning

– an empty notebook, and
– a cup of warm, sweet coffee

– the color blue
– music up, windows down
– florida
– driving and driving and driving

– berries bursting with the juice of sunshine, summer, and home
– the word fresh
– that color red

– strolling a shady farmer’s markets
– Southern accents
– the way the breeze makes the trees shiver

– homemade cinnamon rolls from the baker who cracks jokes
– friends to share them with
– sticky, sticky, stick fingers

– crashing water
– salt spray in my face
– a high, tight blue sky and sea foam and shells

– falling asleep on the beach
– tan lines

– feathery soft sand beneath my feet
– pink toenails
– a patchy sunburn (ouch) that manages to bring back good memories
