Hello, new followers (+ old friends) 🤍 Lots of new faces here every day. I’m thrilled to share glimpses into real life and my business, and figured it was time to share *my* face again!!

I’m Hannah, a wedding + portrait photographer in North Idaho. I always feel like these kinds of bios end up being lists of things people like/do, and they’re odd things to write about yourself; but I know it’s helpful, so here’s me trying!! 🙈

I’m a wife, mama to one, a believer, and a professional pianist. I officially started my business in 2017, but my photography journey began long ago when I commandeered my family’s digital camera during a cross-country trip and just started taking photos. Been obsessed ever since. ✌🏼Eventually, my focus shifted to weddings + portraits, and here we are. Blending running my photography business + musical career has always made for some busy/interesting cross-overs, but it’s a rewarding journey and I’m not ready to give up either one. 🤣

If you’re here because of the triathlon reel I shared, yep; that’s part of my life too. Being outdoors, enjoying fitness, you get it. Also on the list of things-Hannah-does are visiting all the National Parks (there’s even a hashtag… #seealltheparks_ ), seeing new places, making/drinking coffee, reading, and growing stuff. Anddddd that’s enough for “the list” ✌🏼

All that to say, WELCOME to following my journey of business + life. 🤍 I realize, like the airlines always say when you fly, that you have MANY choices when you choose who to follow or support, so I want to thank you for flying Southwest. I mean… for being here. (and also… Southwest for *life*).

ONE YEAR 🤍 I’m still processing the joy + nos

ONE YEAR 🤍 I’m still processing the joy + nostalgia of celebrating a whole YEAR with our little human. He turned one almost two weeks ago and I’m not quite sure where the time with our tiny angel baby went?! They say babies don’t keep and they are SO RIGHT.

Zachary, what a joy + honor it is to be your mama. You are an incredible baby (as everyone who has ever met you can attest!!) growing into the sweetest little boy, and I thank God every day you are ours. I love you endlessly.

Is there a place to rate our clients? Because if so… FIVE STARS for these two!! I haven’t even delivered their August wedding and they’ve already written me reviews and talked me up to all their friends + fam.

Here’s some of what Emily + Aaron have shared and you’ll see why I teared up (oop!!): “Beyond her photography skills, Hannah is an amazing person. She went above and beyond as our photographer, often stepping in to help coordinate things when we didn’t even realize we needed it. As the bride, I was so focused on other details that but I heard about countless ways she helped that I did not even knew about the day of!”

FINALLY got to attend a wedding as a guest, and wow, you guys have FUN! 👏🏼 don’t get me wrong, photographing a wedding is *amazing* - but sitting down and actually watching the ceremony? Dancing with a hot date? Not taking home thousands of images to edit?! Looking cute instead of… hot (in a *warm* way)? Plus I never ever drink while I’m working (like, fun drinks - I drink water lol) so that was a treat on a hot, beautiful August wedding day. 🥂

One of Mason’s “old” Army friends got married this weekend and it was so sweet. So good to see the guys all together, living their best lives. 🤍🥹 The bond they share is special, and all the wives *finally* got to meet (after YEARS!!).

We’re so thrilled for Coty + Callie, the new Mr and Mrs!! It was a beautiful day; full of family + friends and honoring to Jesus and the new life they’re starting together. 🤍
