She’s an incredibly sweet girl – man, I hope y’all have amazing friends like I do. I feel like I rave on and on about all these people God’s put in my life, but they definitely don’t deserve any less. I’ll spare you alllllll the many reasons that this girl is so incredible.
Just gotta say she’s super sweet. And funny. A terrific volleyball and soccer player. An encourager. She’s a beast at snowboarding too.
And she’s a photographer with a great eye and awesome spirit for people and for her art. Please please please check out Dakota’s blog, which I believe is undergoing a little overhaul currently! She’s getting her business started and boy, lemme tell you – she has what it takes.
A few days ago, we headed out into 24 degree weather (!!) to shoot some pics! So many people stopped by to remind us of the weather (um yes, thank you people, we’re WELL aware of that fact!).
Plus we had our coffee to keep us warm. A definite staple.
Bam. Look at those beautiful blues.
To make matters even coooooler (if possible) – we shoot with the same camera! Yayyyy for Canon girls. And 50mm 1.4 lenses.
It’s so much fun to shoot with another photog, because they know what I’m talking about. “Hold your camera up in front, I’m going to focus on it with 1.6, so you’re in the background.” Who else would know what I was talking about?
WHISTLE. Watch it, girl. They’ll be falling all over themselves to get to you.
andddd they probably already have… 😀
“I don’t like the way I look when I laugh.”
Whhhaaaattt?
Love ya, girl! Your incredible talent and ridiculously sweet spirit will get you far. Don’t loose that sparkle in those eyes. 😉
Because believe it or not, you’re incredibly adorable when you laugh.
<3

This set of portraits is simply beautiful, Hannah and Dakota. I especially love the ones focused on her blue eyes and the pictures by that fabulous teal wall. =) Blessings!
P.S. Hannah, do you edit your pictures in lightroom? About how much time does it take you to edit one image/one session? And how did you learn lightroom…mostly at your internship? Just wondering. =) Thanks so much, Hannah!
