I love checking new states off my list. I think I’m up to 47 now… come on, Arkansas and Oklahoma! Also Alaska, but since that’s definitely on my WILL-DO list, it’s gonna happen. Louisiana was number 46, and when my sister got married in May, it was a great chance to hit up New Orleans and get Louisiana marked down as done.
If you ever find yourself in the sticky, humid Bayous of NOLA, be sure to check out Cafe du Monde… it’s well worth the parking and the crowds.
