ALEXA + HUNTER | Downtown Engagement Session | Coeur d’Alene, Idaho

As a general rule, I try not to freeze my clients, but sometimes the schedule and the weather just don’t cooperate. But when you have cozy sweaters, the last of the crunchy fall leaves, and a love like this to keep you warm? Totally worth it.

I met up with Alexa and Hunter (one of my 2026 wedding couples!!) last December to shoot their engagement photos. We basically had the entire Tubbs Hill area to ourselves (that is how chilly and windy it was!), and we were able to create some adorable memories for them.

The love + joy these two bring to the world is infectious. They’re so comfortable around each other that even though they had never done professional photo before, they rocked it!! I’m looking forward to their summer wedding (coming up soon in July) and can’t wait to get back to shooting with them and their families as they tie the knot.
