Ninety minutes north of Coeur d’Alene lies Priest Lake, a somewhat hidden gem that us locals want to keep a hidden gem. And along the southwest shore, a Priest Lake staple. Hill’s Resort. Their website says it best: “Our grounds and facilities offer various settings, including beach side, lake side, and indoor to meet the needs of your specific vision.” Weddings are available year-round except for the months of July and August, with on-site lodging for your out-of-town guests making the wedding weekend getaway one for the books.


3. Coeur d’Alene Resort

Along with the Hagadone Event Center, the CDA Resort also hosts weddings on the resort property itself. Immediately noticeable as you drive into downtown Coeur d’Alene, the Resort is a staple in the local area. Plus, the food is INSANE, the easy proximity to the floating boardwalk, and the wooden boat rentals? Yes. Please.


4. Hayden Lake Country Club

Hayden, ID

Hayden Lake Country Club comes with an elite disclaimer: members only. And if you’re lucky enough to be one of the ones who grew up on the shores of Hayden Lake as your grandpa + grandma played on the beautiful golf course… you’re lucky. Members can sponsor couples to get married at the iconic space, and it’s absolutely GORGEOUS. Worth every penny (and the food?! ALSO INSANE).

5. Sherman Chapel

Coeur d’Alene, ID

If “Christmas” and “wedding” in the dictionary had a wedding of their own… it would be at Sherman Chapel. Built in 1880, it’s the oldest-standing building in Coeur d’Alene. Of course it’s perfect for celebrations any time of year, but the traditional red chapel just comes to life at Christmastime!


6. Lyman’s Cabin

Spirit Lake, ID

Coming to life in the fall, the cozy Lyman’s Cabin in Spirit Lake, Idaho, has autumn vibes in spades. It’s adorable any time of year, but the way the fall foliage just flutters in as summer comes to a close is absolutely magical.
